As a doula trainer, I use the birth sling as a teaching tool with my students. It encourages them to be creative when they practice positions for labor and it's so much fun! I originally saw the birth sling when it first had been launched. It definitely spiked my interest. I used it for my second pregnancy, and throughout my really difficult posterior homebirth. It was magical. It gave my support team a rest from holding me up. It was the best thing for my birth. Now im using in my practice as a birth worker 🤍

I love the birth sling and use it every day for preparing for my homebirth. My plan is to use it while giving birth too. And the plus point for me is that I can use it outdoor too!

Love the birth sling! Used it with the labor positions video during pregnancy then during labor. It helped me release my pelvic floor and prepare for birth. Loved the support and flexibility it provided. Lots of positive feedback from hospital staff as well. Delivered my 9.5lb baby with no tearing, and I believe preparing and laboring using the birth sling assisted in that achievement.

I ordered my birth sling and something happened with delivery with Auspost. Auspost wasn't very helpful, but the team at Birth Sling were so lovely - even though it wasn't their problem to rectify, they sent out another birth sling. The sling itself is great and you're buying from a supportive Aus business.

The birth sling was a game changer! When I was pregnant with my 3rd baby, I knew I wanted an unmedicated birth (had epidurals with the others). I also needed a game plan for staying upright & active as I experience my contractions down my legs, which previously left me struggling labour in most positions other than side lying.

The birth sling was the perfect solution for letting my body hang, relaxing into the contractions rather than fighting them. I anchored the sling on the door, and leant forward and upright on a gym ball with the sling around my chest.
I felt held, and secure. My labour was very quick, less than 2 hours from cramping to birth, my husband didn’t have a chance to support me much, the sling felt like a support person.
We ended out birthing our baby in the giant boot of our car not far from the hospital.

So thankful this exists & love how easy it was to use at home just anchored on a door!

The birth sling not only got me through a very uncomfortable and painful pregnancy but it proved to be the most supportive labour tool. I was able to get into so many comfortable positions to help move baby into the right position and support a calm, beautiful birthing experience. This sling was AMAZING for prep getting baby low, then for the first part of my active labour using its to just hang… my husband also benefited from not needing to hold me up as the sling did this so he could be present with holding my hand and doing hip pressure ect highly recommend this product, beautiful material, really well made and a game changer for birth…

I have been using the birth sling for nearly 2.5 years with all of my doula clients in the US. We have seen shorter labors and fewer cesarean sections with those clients who stay upright and use the sling to support them. It’s sturdy and comfortable and feels so good. My clients love it and it makes a HUGE difference for my work as a doula!

Not only does it promote upright, active positioning, which is linked to quicker labor and fewer interventions but it also provides incredible support and comfort as my body changes and grows.
I’ve been so comfortable in my body thoughout this pregnancy because I’ve had the chance to move intuitively while feeling totally supported, stretching out any kinks and even strengthening with some supportive body-weight exercises I can do with it. It’s been a beautiful way to bond with my baby, encouraging movement and connection for us both. Plus, knowing that I’m preparing for a more empowered birth keeps me motivated and excited. I utilised the birth sling in late pregnancy with my twins when my body needed the movement but I couldn’t quite get into the positions I needed. It was the only tool that made this easy for me to move independently. I also used the birth sling at the hospital during active labour to support upright positioning and movement which I loved. Now a few weeks postpartum, I plan to use the birth sling to stretch and move my body gently while I continue to heal. I can’t speak highly enough of the quality and ease of use. I recommend this tool for any woman wanting additional support to move and stay upright during pregnancy and labour.

I used the Birth Sling during my sixth pregnancy and again during labor and it made a huge difference. At over 40 weeks, I was dealing with major pelvic girdle pain, and the sling gave me fast, effective relief. It helped align my baby, reduced pressure, and made me feel physically supported and mentally ready for labor.
